~Learn the Lesson~

Ever seen a person that seems to be stuck in one spot and just can not move forward regardless of what they do. I see this far to often and in the past I also had certain situations that had me at a stand still as well. Over the years though I have learned one thing, that if you do not embrace the lesson that God is trying to teach you then you will stay at that same spot until you ask for help and put in the action to really move out of that space that you are "stuck" in. There are many lessons in life and when you are open to learning the lessons then you will be free to move forward. Some people do not understand how to begin to learn the lesson and for me the first step was to ask for guidance because when you ask the Most High for help you shall receive an answer. I do feel that it is very important to ask questions and to realize why you are where you are at and what caused this. Hold yourself accountable and look at the situation that you are in. Figure out what y...

~Be Careful What You Ask For~

Ever heard the saying 'be careful what you ask for or you just may get it" this is true because when you constantly ask the universe for something and you focus on that thing you have asked for then it will indeed come to you. I am a witness to this because I have manifested many of thoughts and ideas over the years. Often times when you ask for something you are asking for a particular thing that you feel you want or need and so many times when you are able to get these things sometimes there is that "what now" feeling. At least for me it is. When I was younger I would want certain things and when I received them I would not even know what to do with my blessings because I did not take the time to think anything through and really understand why I wanted this in my life and what good would it do being in my life. These are questions that I have learned to ask myself before I even start to ask the most high for blessings. I feel it is important to really think e...

~Misery Loves Company~

Why does it seem like miserable people like to stick to you like glue or at least try to stick to you. It is like when they know and see you are a positive person and they value your wisdom and outlook on things they tend to sponge on you literally sucking you dry. To the positive person it is draining and feels like they are sucking you dry but to the miserable person they may feel a high from being around you and you may be their safe place from life. I feel it is important to be there for people yes but you still need to use wisdom  and know when to make yourself available and when not to. People go through things in life and they need a caring ear to listen sometimes and to be there for them is a blessing for them because you are able to comfort them and help them get through a difficult situation. At the same time though when you are a person who is always there for everyone else and you leave yourself last this is when it can get tricky. You have to set limits on your time...

~Sometimes You Have To Go Missing~

I am a professional at going missing or disappearing as some would say it. I like my alone time and I love to think and be at peace so taking time off for myself is mandatory. I have to "turn the cable off" (one of my favorite phrases) from the world to be able to process my thoughts and just take a break from people and the things that I see and hear on a daily. People will drain you, the things you see and hear from the people around you will drain you, and when you are not able to take breaks you have all of this different energy and thoughts floating around in your head sometimes causing you to become unfocused and unproductive. It is easy to lose your focus when you are not able to take breaks because your mind is overwhelmed with other peoples problems and negativity and chaos. It is important to have peace in the midst of chaos and confusion yes. But it is also important to have some alone time with yourself to get your mind back in alignment with your goals and you...

~What Makes a Great Debate~

I feel like a great debate is one where a person actually knows about what it is they are debating about as well as the opposing view. Many times in debates you will find people who are debating and having one sided debates which is not fun and very much draining. I do not know about you but I am a person that used to love debates years ago but now not so much because it seems like the rules have changed. I view being one sided as a person who only has an opinion or facts on the side that they are routing for and not on the side that they are against. Many times from what I have seen in debates of new is that people only are concerned with their facts and their opinions and the wanting of being right so much that they do not want to listen to opposing facts or opinions and the whole debate ends up being a big waste of time. In my opinion if a person can not learn or at least get an understanding of both sides and still stand strong on their views and agree to disagree then it is a w...

~Life Goes On~

Life goes on....when you are mad, sad, happy, and everything in between you must know that regardless of how you are feeling each day that life goes on and it waits for no one. We all have our times when we are feeling less than extraordinary and full of positive vibes. This is normal to have our "moments" but the thing about life is that regardless of what we go through it continues to move on and if we are not careful it will pass us by. When you are not feeling your best it is important to feel what you feel yes but do not sit still continue to move and continue to live your life. To stop and sit in your pain is not an option you are resilient and you are strong and you are a person of courage and strength so act as such! Life is precious so missing a day or two to get yourself back together is not so bad but weeks and months and years now that is something totally different. Depression is something that is serious and can easily creep up on you if you are not careful...

~When You Get A Chance Take It~

This blog post is inspired by my son aka "muffin" he actually told me this would be a great topic to speak on because he has felt like he has had chances that he did not take and he has regrets due to him not taking that chance. This is something I am sure we all can relate to being that fear or thinking too much could lead one to hesitation. It is so easy to overthink situations in life and hesitating or being unsure can stop you dead in your tracks making you afraid to move forward and go for what you want. Fear when making a decision is a normal emotion. I feel that fear is just the caution in all of us protecting us from the unknown. Fear however can be a good thing depending on the situation especially if it is protecting us from harm. Fear can also be a bad thing because it sometimes leaves you feeling helpless and unable to put action into what you desire to do. When it comes to your dreams and your goals and making a better life for yourself then go for it and do n...
