~Self Love Ritual~


The love of self is something that many people suffer with. There are so many insecurities that we all face at times and some of those insecurities weigh heavy on your heart as well as your mind. One of the hardest things in the world is to have one or more insecurities that you are not happy with and allow these insecurities to affect your day to day living. So many people suffer in silence with not being able to fully love all of them because they are so busy focusing on the things that they would like to change about themselves whether that being physical appearance or another aspect of their personality. I want to share with you some awesome things that you can do to help get you back on track to loving yourself and feeling more confident.

What makes you happy?
Do more things that bring a smile to your face and what also boosts your confidence in the process. If dressing up and wearing a certain outfit makes you feel your best then do more of that. More of the things that boost your energy and less of the things that do not.

Affirmations
Affirmations every morning! Every morning you wake up look in the mirror and tell yourself what you like about you and what you feel blessed to have on your body. For example you can say “I am thankful for my arms and legs and eyes I am able to walk and see and move with no difficulties etc. Show love to you and make sure that you really think about and understand that there is someone in the world that wishes to have what you have but may have not been as fortunate as you are to have a body that is fully functioning or eyes that are able to see etc.

Keep Your Energy High
Make sure that you try to keep yourself at a positive high energy. Laugh daily and add humor to your day because laughter is the best medicine when you are going through hard times. Exercise when you can because getting exercise and walking outside getting fresh air on a regular will help you to keep you grounded spiritually as well as keeping your stress down due to the increased physical activity.

Keep a Journal
Make sure that you keep a journal to write down your thoughts and feelings because this is important in your journey. Over time you will see your growth of journal entries that you have written down over the process of months or years etc. Being able to see growth in self helps build your confidence in so many ways. When you have a self-love journal you are able to work through many insecurities by looking at those insecurities and then speaking greatness over yourself by showing gratitude to yourself of the things you do love about yourself and the things that do make you happy. Reading your journal daily or weekly can help in the healing process of self-love.

Candle Rituals
Candle rituals are awesome because they can help you to release your negative energy into the universe by burning away your negative outlooks on a situation which is mental detoxing and it also brings to you your intentional energy that you are wanting to manifest to you. Speaking what you want into the universe when you have your candle burning each day will help you to bring forth or release the things that you need to move forward in your life. When you do a self-love ritual make this to be a special time for you each day and make sure you are comfortable and set up your environment how you see fit. The more you love your ritual space the more you will enjoy this time of release and manifestation. A few things that you can use would be:
1.       Red Candle (love energy)
2.       Pink Candle (self-love energy)
3.       White Candle (positive energy)
4.       Rose Petals (add to your altar table around your candles)
5.       Love Music
6.       Sweet Perfume

Light your candles each night for about an hour as you focus on your self-love and healing. Take time to meditate and visualize and see what it is you want moving forward in your self-love journey. I would suggest buying the tall glass seven day candles so that you are able to have a full week of meditation and self-love ritual.
