~Relax and Release Techniques~
Relaxation after a long tiresome day is much needed for us all. I wanted to take a moment to share with you a few of my most favorite relaxation techniques that always work wonders for me. Being able to come home and leave work at work is something that surprisingly a lot of people have trouble with. The key is to embracing what you like and what makes your senses and your body feel good! Here are a few techniques that you can try at home.
1. Meditation: (Breathe in and out slowly and focus on absolutely nothing. Clear your mind of the events of the day and just "be" in the moment. In your moment.
2. Ice Packs: Ice packs on your shoulders as well as placing it on your liver or the right side of your body under your chest area for about 15 minutes helps with relaxation and stress and it helps gets the tension out of my shoulders fast.
3. Music: I love music so my favorite soothing tune is always a great way to relax and release!
4. Scented Candles: Scented candles such as lavender, jasmine, and chamomile are great ways to assist with relaxation the scents really trigger your senses helping you to relax.
5. Visualization: Visualizing things that are important to you or things that make you happy or something that may make you laugh are all things you should fill your mind with. Positive thoughts are important when trying to gain peace and relaxation
I hope my techniques will help bring you relaxing times after a long day. Try to implement your own technique of things that you like and make that a consistent practice in your day to day.
