~Relax and Release Techniques~

Relaxation after a long tiresome day is much needed for us all. I wanted to take a moment to share with you a few of my most favorite relaxation techniques that always work wonders for me. Being able to come home and leave work at work is something that surprisingly a lot of people have trouble with. The key is to embracing what you like and what makes your senses and your body feel good! Here are a few techniques that you can try at home. 1. Meditation: (Breathe in and out slowly and focus on absolutely nothing. Clear your mind of the events of the day and just "be" in the moment. In your moment. 2. Ice Packs: Ice packs on your shoulders as well as placing it on your liver or the right side of your body under your chest area for about 15 minutes helps with relaxation and stress and it helps gets the tension out of my shoulders fast. 3. Music: I love music so my favorite soothing tune is always a great way to relax and release! 4. Scented Candles: Scented candles su...

~Overthinking Can Overtake You~

I am a thinker and I have always been since childhood. My thoughts fill my mind constantly and rarely slow down. I can say that I am used to it now because this is my "normal". I do know a few people who say that their thoughts make them anxious and they are overcome with panic which sometimes lead to them having panic attacks. I can relate to this from the past, the old me used to overthink situations to the point of not being able to sleep and worrying myself into migraine headaches. The new me is able to have my thoughts and embrace my thoughts without letting my thoughts overtake me. The first thing to think about when you start to overthink on a situation in your life is to ask yourself is this something that I can or can not control? If yes then get your pen and paper out and plan. Things that are in your head can become much simpler when you put your thoughts onto paper. If your thoughts are somethings that you are not able to control then you have to really stop an...

~Your Outlook Is Everything~

The way you view things is key to the life that you live and the life that you would like to live. I say this because the outlook that you have on a daily basis will determine how your day will end up going. If your outlook is usually one that is negative then you may feel like life is hopeless which will often times lead to depression and anxiety. Being able to see the positive in everything is a plus because your thoughts will reflect in your actions and in the way you interact with others. Have you ever seen a person that never has anything nice to say everything is negative and their outlook on life is that nothing is going to change so why bother trying to think positive because life is hard and nothing will ever go right for them. I have seen many people who feel like this and this is something that is consistent for them due to years and years of having this behavior so changing to something different feels uncomfortable. Anytime you are introduced with something new and ch...

~ Don't Ask Why Just Go With The Flow~

When life is going good and you are showered with blessings consistently try not to get scared and question why things are going so well. I have witnessed so many people say "oh life is just too good right now something bad is about to happen" because they feel like they are just having too much of a good luck streak and know that their luck will come to end. I myself do not believe in luck I feel that everything happens according to your life path and according to the energy that you put out into the world. Questioning why is kind of like saying you are not deserving of all of this good positive energy coming your way and it must be a mistake or something bad is about to happen to make your life "normal" again. As the saying goes "why ask why" just live your life and go with the flow because you only get one life to live so embrace your good days and take comfort in your happiness because you deserve it. Good energy coming your way is a wonderful thi...
