~Lets Get Healthy~
The past few weeks I have really been thinking about healthier living and how important it is to eat better and get exercise in. I am a person who will start a routine and then I get sidetracked, usually something out of the ordinary happens to mess up the flow of my routine and I end up feeling oh so defeated. In my defeat comes getting out of the notion to stay on my routine and then I have to start all over again. I have really started to look at myself and see that I am just not a "cold turkey" sort of girl. I can not just stop cold turkey and be successful on this new healthy eating and exercise journey. I am realistic and I know my limits and what I will and will not do.
With that being said I now have started to move on my own pace and slack off on things that I once wanted but no longer have a craving for. I had to take baby steps though and over time I wanted these things less and less. The first thing to go was desserts or anything sweet. I love sweets and would literally have to have something sweet daily just a little something to kill the sweet craving nothing going overboard. Over time I was able to break away from that and now the dilemma is bread and meat. The meat I can definitely do without and only eat on occasion but the bread oh that is going to hurt me in the worst way. The most I can go is two weeks without bread and after that I get the worst migraines ever. I really want to master this no bread thing or either just try and reduce this but I do not know how and I am open to suggestions from anyone who has mastered this.
Baby steps is my plan of action because with baby steps comes consistency in actions and for a person like me who has always been a horrible dieter that is what I need. No pressure just reducing my intake of the things that I want to wein away from and over time I know that I will master this! Feel free to share your stories with me I am open to any advice and or motivational stories of yours that has helped you along your journey to a healthy lifestyle.
