Salt is a popular season that is used on our food, this is something that we all know, but it has also been said that salt preserves food and it represents the absence of decay. Being that salt has an absence of decay quality it is also known to have a protective and positive energy due to salt being from the sea and the meaning of sea symbolizes peace, calm, balance and spiritual energy. Salt is protective because in spirituality it is known to help rid the home of negative energies and spirits.
